LCCC is among the most accredited colleges in the state. That means our programs regularly undergo rigorous evaluations for excellence. What does LCCC cost?
LCCC's tuition can save you up to 73% on college years 1 and 2. A resident of a sponsoring school district pays $84 per credit, which included the technology and student service fees. A three-credit course costs $252 plus textbooks; a two-semester, 30-credit year costs only $2,520. (Note: Tuition and fees are effective for the Fall 2003 semester and are subject to change. Many employers offer tuition reimbursement. Check with your employer for options.)

What are career programs?
Career programs prepare you for immediate employment upon graduation. LCCC offers more than 40 Associate in Applied Science degree programs, which provide career instruction along with a foundation in the liberal arts. Or choose from 25 Certificate programs,which are shorter in duration and focus primarily on career instruction.

Is financial aid available?
Financial Aid is available at LCCC. There are different grants,scholarships, loans and work-study programs available to help afford college costs. A Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be completed as soon as possible. Applications are available at high schools, at any LCCC location, or online at www.fafsa.ed.gov (for fastest response). Payment plans are also available. Fees for students from non-sponsoring Pennsylvania school districts are $165 per credit and $246 per credit for out-of-state or foreign student.

With planning, most or all of your LCCC credits can transfer to the senior college of your choice (such as DeSales University, Penn State,Cedar Crest, Kutztown University, and more!). The College is approximately 10 miles north of Allentown and 10 miles south of Slatington. What type of extracurricular activities are available?
Many social, recreational, cultural, and athletic events are sponsored by the Student Activities Center. Activities include concerts, films, student government, lectures, comedy, magic, theatre, bus trips, and sports. Intercollegiate sports include golf, men's basketball, baseball, and soccer, and women's volleyball, basketball,and softball. Intramural sports are also offered throughout the year. There are two semesters (fall and spring), in addition to two summer sessions. Many students attending LCCC and other colleges use the summer sessions to reduce their course load in the fall and spring semesters. Distance learning opportunities are available year-round.

What is distance learning?
This is a great way to take a course at your convenience. Students who enroll in distance learning courses do not have to come on campus and participate in a traditional classroom. Distance learning classes are offered in several formats, including Online, Telecourses (through Lehigh Valley PBS), Video courses, Tele-web and Individualized instruction.
